Student Recognition Program
(Formerly known as “Student of the Quarter”)
In alignment with the cherished Rotary value of “Service Above Self,” we at the Rotary Club of Snoqualmie Valley are proud to honor and support the exceptional students from our local Mt. Si High School who have significantly contributed to the community through their selfless service.
Snoqualmie Mayor Matt Larson, Mt. Si High School Principal John Belcher, and Rotary Club President Scott Greenberg handing certificates and scholarships to Students of the Quarter, at the Mt. Si Senior Center in North Bend, 11/18/2021
The number of students recognized may vary each semester, reflecting the unique dynamics and remarkable talent within our local student body. These students are chosen with great care by the dedicated staff at Mt. Si High School, not only for their academic achievements but more importantly, for their commitment to service and their demonstrated embodiment of the Rotary spirit.
With each recognition, these exceptional young individuals also receive a scholarship, a token of our appreciation for their inspirational work and a contribution towards their future endeavors. These scholarships, while modest, represent a direct investment in the youth of Snoqualmie Valley, encouraging them to continue their journey of service and personal development.
We invite you to join us at our meetings to celebrate these extraordinary students. Witness firsthand the powerful stories of their service, the positive change they are bringing to our community, and the hope they represent for a better future.
The Student Recognition Program is not only a tribute to these remarkable young individuals, but it’s also an investment in the future of our community. However, the growth and impact of this program largely depend on the generous donations we receive.
By contributing to our club, you are helping to increase the number of scholarships we can provide and the amount of each scholarship, directly impacting the lives of these dedicated students and, in turn, our community. Your donation, no matter the size, can make a significant difference and inspire more students to embody the ethos of “Service Above Self”.
Please consider making a donation today. Let’s together nurture and reward the spirit of service in our youth, and build a stronger and more caring Snoqualmie Valley for all.
