Short bio for your members:
Anshu Chandra has 16 years of experience providing eye care in Haiti. She leads a permanent clinic in Fond-des-Blancs, supports mobile clinics, and helps train local eye care professionals, including the Haitian ophthalmology residency program in Port-au-Prince. She holds a Doctor of Optometry degree and completed her residency at SUNY College of Optometry. She has provided care in Nepal, Haiti, Peru, Lebanon, Tanzania, Honduras, Guatemala, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Indonesia, and India.

Dear Members of Snoqualmie Valley Rotary,
On behalf of the Mount Si High School Band Boosters, we would like to express our deep appreciation for your grant award.
We will use the funds to purchase a new cello to have available for students in the orchestra program. Having a cello for use at the school provides students with a high-quality instrument to practice on and helps us ensure our program is equitable for all students. It will also help us to grow our program because it will make it easier for middle school students to remain in the orchestra program throughout their high school years.
We would like to invite members of the Rotary to our final concert of the season. The band and orchestra will perform on May 27 at the Performing Arts Center at Mount Si High School. Three band ensembles will perform at 6 p.m. The orchestra and wind ensemble will perform at 7:30 p.m. We hope some of your members are available to join us and see our talented musicians in action.
A member of our board will also contact you soon to set up a time for a student group to play at one of your meetings or events. I have attached a photo of two of our students as well.
